This animation shows a space station that is being attacked by space ships from another civilization. Due to the protection shield of the space station the enemies don't succeed to destroy it.
The aim of this exercise to learn how to use nParticles in Maya. In addition, I used MASH trails in combination with nParticles to create the floating energy around the space station, and experimented with the Maya Flow Effect to make the portal.
